Switzerland has always been a dream, especially Zermatt with the iconic Matterhorn. The Matterhorn ride at Disneyland made it famous for me. Visiting it in person is a dream come true! Zermatt offers skiing, climbing, hiking, and fondue. During my summer visit, I discovered eight amazing activities you can't miss in Zermatt, Switzerland!
1. EXPLORE ZERMATT VILLAGE

Zermatt's village is charming, filled with traditional homes and buildings. It's entirely car-free, with only electric cars for hotels. So, prepare to walk everywhere! While exploring, you'll delight in discovering the Matterhorn peeking through various areas.

When in Zermatt, a visit to the Gornergrat is a must! This rocky ridge in the Pennine Alps offers stunning views of the Gorner Glacier and the Matterhorn. Accessible via the Gornergrat rack railway, Europe's highest open-air railway.

One of the best experiences in Zermatt is paragliding with Fly Zermatt! It's exhilarating yet not too frightening, even if you're scared of heights. Flying with a guide makes it easy and safe, so don't skip this adventure when you visit Zermatt!

The Matterhorn museum is exceptional, showcasing exhibits on the regional history, including the tragic 1865 climb where climbers perished during the descent. The museum displays actual ropes and belongings recovered from the climbers.

For an unforgettable dining experience with a view, visit Findlerhof! I enjoyed their spaghetti immensely, but they're also famous for their delicious burgers.

Zermatt has truly exceeded my expectations! Exploring the charming village, getting pleasantly lost, and waking up to stunning Matterhorn views each day was unforgettable. If you're planning a trip to Switzerland, Zermatt is an absolute must-visit!
