The Engelberg-Untertrübsee-Trübsee
Starting in Engelberg, the trail goes through Stapfmatti to Untertrübsee. Some find it ends too soon and opt to walk to Obertrübsee. Leisure enthusiasts can use the Älplerseil cable car. At Obertrübsee, follow the Trübsee alpine flower trail to the Trübsee middle station and explore their exciting activities.
Waterfall Loop
Embark on the Waterfall Loop starting from the Trübsee play area, reaching the Stäubi waterfall fed by the Steinberg glacier. Take in breathtaking views of Trübsee and the waterfall. On warmer days, savor a leisurely stroll along the cool, invigorating glacier water. Above the waterfall, discover the enchanting alpine flora in a protected environment.
Trübsee Circular Trail
Ideal for individuals and families seeking a leisurely stroll or those with pushchairs, the path around Trübsee Lake offers a delightful walk. Along the route, discover four firepits where you can pause for a snack and relish the great outdoors—don't forget to bring some sausages.
The "Murmeliwanderung" or Marmot path
Known as the Trübsee-Jochpasslift-Jochpass-Schaftal-Tannalp-Engstlenalp-Jochpass-Jochpasslift-Trübsee route, this path offers the chance to spot charming tiny rodents with binoculars. If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of an ibex or chamois in the area.
Start at Trübsee's mountain station, follow the lakeside route, and then use the chairlift to reach Jochpass. Proceed towards Schaftal from there.
As you journey to Engstlenalp, the stunning alpine panorama around the deep-blue Engstlensee lake is sure to capture your attention.
4 Lakes Hike
Explore Central Switzerland's beauty with the Engleberg-Trübsee-Jochpass-Engstlenalp-Tannalp-Melchsee-Frutt hike, popularly known as the 4 Lakes Hike. Begin by taking the cable car to Trübsee, stroll along the lake to reach the Jochpass chair lift.
After summiting, the trail leads to Melchsee-Frutt via Engstlenalp and Tannalp. Descend to Stöckalp with the cable car, then take the Postbus to Sarnen. Return to Engelberg via train.
Geology Trail
Explore the Alps' geology on the Geology Trail from Trübsee to Stand. The steep walk offers panoramic views into a captivating glacial world. Information boards provide insights into the geological development of the TITLIS region. This walk, with its stunning views, is truly breathtaking.
Alpine Cheese Trail
Explore Engelberg with the Alpine Cheese Trail, linking eight Alpine dairies in Langenboden, Untertrübsee, Gerschnialp, Stäfeli, Blackenalp, Steinäbnet, and Surenen. Discover numerous Alpine dairy farms in the TITLIS, Fürenalp, and Brunni regions. This cheesy hike can be enjoyed in sections.
2. Trübsee Adventure
Have you ever wanted to experience the thrill of doing your own stunts? The Trübsee Adventure is here to fulfill that wish!
This adventure includes four exciting activities: The BagJumo Tower, Trampoline2Bag, Slackline, and Bouncy Castle. The best part? All activities are free of charge, with guides available at all times.
These activities are typically open from 10 AM to 5 PM during the months of July, August, and September, as long as the weather is favorable. Here's more detailed information about each activity:
BagJump Tower

Take a leap of faith from the BagJump Tower, jumping three, four, or six meters onto the airbag below. Experience the "BagJump" mania firsthand at Trübsee middle station. A bit of courage is all it takes. Trust the TITLIS Adventure Park guides to assist you with your initial jumps.
Trampoline Bag
Adjacent to each other, the BagJump Tower and Trampoline to Bag activities allow you to leap from the bouncing trampoline directly onto the airbag.
Slackline

Enhance your coordination, balance, and focus on the slackline at the Trübsee Alpine Lodge terrace. Positioned 50 cm above the ground, with crash mats underneath, ensuring your safety if balance is lost.
Bouncy Castle

Let your little ones climb, slide, and play to their heart's content on the trampoline and bouncy castle. The unique Rotair bouncy castle is located by the terrace in front of Lago Torbido. Additionally, on the terrace of Trübsee Alpine Lodge, children can enjoy bouncing on the trampoline equipped with a safety net and the Alpine hut bounce house.
3. Trübsee Flyer Zipline

Begin your zipline adventure 20 meters above Trübsee Alpine Lodge. The exhilarating ride concludes 40 meters down, near the lakeside playground.
Securely attached to a robust steel rope, you'll glide 500 meters from Trübsee Alpine Lodge to the lake. The experience allows for tandem flights, accommodating two passengers side by side.

TITLIS offers everything, whether it's a downhill free-wheel or a sporty thrill on a singletrack.

Engelberg-Untertrübsee- Trübsee Trail
Heading from the valley to Trübsee middle station involves navigating uneven terrain. If the entire journey feels daunting, you can opt for the Älplerseil lift for part of the route. From Untertrübsee, take a cable car to reach Obertrübsee.
Trudy Trail
The Jochpass-Trübsee mountain bike route links Jochpass to the station at Trübsee below, affectionately known as the "Trudy trail" in honor of the Jochpass hut warden.
With challenging sections, sharp turns, and obstacles, the path offers a thrilling experience without difficult steps or leaps. Ideal for those who relish downhill riding.
Jochopass Trail
Designed for both novice and experienced bikers, the new Jochpass trail from Jochpass to Trübsee serves as a recreational route. Cyclists can adapt their speed to navigate the hurdles and bends along the trail.
Hells Bells Trail
The Jochpass-Engstlen bike path is approximately a meter wide, offering a relatively manageable ride. However, be prepared for some challenging biking obstacles along the way.
4 Lakes Trail
Explore one of Central Switzerland's most picturesque regions on the Engstlenalp-Tannalp-Engstlenalp-Melchsee-Frutt trail.
Start by taking TITLIS Cableways to Trübsee. Ride your bike to the nearby chairlift and ascend to Jochpass. From the summit, bike to Melchsee-Frutt through Engstlenalp and Tannalp.
Enjoy a downhill ride to Sarnen, where you can catch a train back to Engelberg.
5. Scooter Bike

No pedaling required, just steer and brake! The 3.5-kilometer track winds through the forest, descending to TITLIS valley station. Rent scooters at the Untertrübsee restaurant or Gerschnialp midway station.
6. Graustock Via Ferrata
Challenging climbing passages follow steep pathways, offering breathtaking views of Graustock's 700-meter-high north face and the Engelberg valley below.
At 2,662 meters, the Graustock summit cross provides stunning panoramas of TITLIS, Spannort, Rigi, and Pilatus. On clear days, you might even catch a glimpse of the Bernese Alps.

Begin by taking the TITLIS cable car from Engelberg to Trübsee middle station. Reach the Jochpass chairlift by strolling along Trübsee Lake.
From Jochpass, continue to the starting point of the via ferrata.
7. Rowing

Gather your friends for a lake cruise! At Trübsee, rent one of the six rowing boats, accommodating four people each. Whether you're a passionate rower or prefer a leisurely pace, this activity is perfect.
While the boats are free to use, visitors often contribute a small gift of CHF 10 per hour for maintenance. Simply drop your donation in the container on the jetty.
